Pickup at the hotel for a guided full day tour of Hanoi. We will visit the major sights, including
the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and paying a homage to Vietnam's most famous
revolutionary, Ho Chi Minh. After lunch, we visit Ethnology Museum, the miniature of Vietnam
with 54 ethnic groups. Here carry out scientific research, collection, documentation,
conservation, exhibition and preserving the cultural and historic patrimony of the nation’s ethnic
groups. The museum also serves to guide research, conservation, and technology that are
specific to the work of an ethnographic museum.
Back to the old quarter, we visit to the Ngoc Son Temple and the legend Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake
or the restored sword). We will take a hour by cycle to visit the old quarter
We will then walk through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet
residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was
founded over 1000 years ago.
Your local guide will then take you to one of Hanoi’s best kept secret, a hidden street food
restaurant
to taste top ten street foods in Hanoi is Banh My Hanoi and famous Egg Coffee. This hard-to-
find cafe is one of the few left in the narrow street inside the old quarter of Hanoi.
Then transfer to Lao Cai by private car at 6:30pm (arrive Lao Cai at about 10:30).

Breakfast at the hotel and we drive to Bac Ha at 7:30.
Today, you will have chance meet hundreds of beautiful women from Flower Hmong tribe, who
are famous for their wonderful craft and hand-made flowering clothes and textile fabrics, or
intermingle with people from Black Hmong, Dzay, Dzao and other ethnic groups coming to the
market not for purchasing stuffs, but for meeting and chatting – just once a week - like in a real
cultural center. We take a short walk to Trung Do village inhabited by Tay people. Tay villages

are always set up at the foot of a mountain or along a stream and are named after a mountain,
a field, or a river. Each village contains about 15-20 households. A large village is divided into
many small hamlets. The houses are built on stilts or level with the ground. Stop by a traditional
Tay house for a cup of tea before taking a boat cruise upstream the Chay River. The scenery is
very beautiful on both sides of the river. The boat trip will end at Bao Nhai bridge where your
vehicle will be waiting for you for the journey to Sapa.

Day 4/28 Dec: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hanoi (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. You start the tour with 6 km of walking down to the south east of Sapa
along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km
of trekking down to Lao Chai village of the H’mong. Lunch at a local family, and then walk
through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. It gives you a worth
chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles
and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes...on the way.
In the afternoon, drive to Lao Cai for overnight train to Hanoi.

Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta.

12.00 We arrive Halong bay, embark the Prince Junk at Hon Gai International harbor.
13.00 Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing. We have time to refresh and unwind.
The Prince Junk sets sail as lunch is prepared by our chef. Join us for a relaxing lunch in the
restaurant. Enjoy the stunning views of the Bay, its dramatic limestone islands as we sail
through the calm waters while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring by the
fascinating formations of the Bay.
15.00 We enjoy swimming in the crystal water and explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son

16.45 Short cruise to Hon Co island where you can enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach,
swimming or kayaking. Kayaking is suitable for all levels and ages. Our expert will run through
the safety procedures and after a basic paddling lesson our experienced guide will lead you to
explore the Bay, its lagoons and beaches. For those who prefer a relaxing afternoon, make the
most of sunbathing on deck.
Back to the Prince Junk, we enjoy the sunset. You can join friends for a pre-dinner drink in the

Day 6/30 Dec: Vung Vieng Fishing Village- Hon Gai harbor – Hanoi - Hoian (Brunch)
7:30: We will have great opportunity to view the sunrise over the Bay. Breakfast, coffee and tea
and served while sailing through the waters with fresh air.
08.30 Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat, meet the local people and pass
through the floating school and fish farms.
09.30 More time for swimming in the middle of the bay.
10.00: Back to the Prince Junk, we have time to relax before checking out. Start cruising
towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served. Disembark our boat and say farewell to
the staff, check out the Prince Junk and transfer to our minibus or your private car to Hanoi
airport for flight to Danang.

and the Hoi An museum. Enjoy shopping with tailor made clothing, lanterns, shoes and food or,
just relax on the beach. Spend the rest of time at leisure on the beach or having clothes made
by one of the expert, inexpensive tailors Hoi An is famous.
In the evening, enjoy Gala New Year dinner at hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel. Take the flight to Saigon. You are picked up by local tour guide in
Saigon. In the morning, we start from Cho Lon (big market), Chinatown district, to discover the
area’s markets, shops and the Cantonese Thien Hau Pagoda – dedicated to the goddess of the
Sea. Head back to the city centre to visit Ben Thanh Market where an incredible display of fresh
produce is offered. Simply stroll through the market exploring the variety of goods for sale. We
continue visiting Notre Dame Cathedral. This church was built between 1877 and 1883 and one
of the city’s major landmarks. Neo-Romanesque in form, Notre Dame is the major seat of the
Catholic religion in modern Vietnam.

takes about 2 hours to Cai Be floating market. From here, we will visit floating market with the
local traditional wooden boats, vast emerald rice fields and lush back waterways. On arrival
board your boat for a cruise of Cai Be floating market. Traders work the river and some have
been living on these waters for generations. Produce at the market is hung on a pole in front of
boats to attract customers and make it easier for people to see from afar what is on offer.
Leaving crowed florating market, we continue visiting a cottage factory where ‘pop-rice’, rice
paper and coconut candies are made. Return to the boat for the cruise to Dong Hoa Hiep Island,
admiring the scenery and the daily life of the local villagers along the way. Local lunch with
Mekong style is served at local restaurant. Back to saigon. You are free time until transfer to the
