1) Alex used to work a stressful 9-5 job with a bullying boss and lived with a verbally abusive partner. He was overworked, underpaid, and unhappy.
2) One day, Alex had enough and abruptly quit his job and left his partner, becoming homeless. He lived on the streets for a time until he met Viktor, who gave him a job in stock brokering.
3) Alex proved successful in his new career, earning much more money than before. He was able to rent and furnish a new apartment, transforming his life and finding happiness after hitting rock bottom.

Daniel - A Screenplay
Daniel is a screenplay about a ten-year-old boy named Daniel, who, in 1960, runs away from home to be with his best friend, Lisa. Lisa and her mother run away from home to be free of her abusive father. Daniel wants to be by her side, so he leaves New York and spends the next ten years in Georgia looking for her. He doesn't find her; he finds music and a hard life. When Daniel returns home, he finds a place quite different from the one he left. He also finds Lisa, who had, after only a year of living in Atlanta, returned to New York to live with her father because her mother unexpectedly passed away. In this screenplay we are introduced to the people who have an effect on Daniel as he grows physically, mentally, and emotionally; people such as, his loving father, Steve, his hateful mother, Lacy, his caring therapist, Dr. Terry, his best friend, Lisa, his friends John and Jen, and the man he spends ten years with - in Georgia - a black french man named, Black Jeffrey. This is a drama, yes, but it is still a fun piece.

Daniel - A Screenplay
Daniel is a screenplay about a ten-year-old boy named Daniel, who, in 1960, runs away from home to be with his best friend, Lisa. Lisa and her mother run away from home to be free of her abusive father. Daniel wants to be by her side, so he leaves New York and spends the next ten years in Georgia looking for her. He doesn't find her; he finds music and a hard life. When Daniel returns home, he finds a place quite different from the one he left. He also finds Lisa, who had, after only a year of living in Atlanta, returned to New York to live with her father because her mother unexpectedly passed away. In this screenplay we are introduced to the people who have an effect on Daniel as he grows physically, mentally, and emotionally; people such as, his loving father, Steve, his hateful mother, Lacy, his caring therapist, Dr. Terry, his best friend, Lisa, his friends John and Jen, and the man he spends ten years with - in Georgia - a black french man named, Black Jeffrey. This is a drama, yes, but it is still a fun piece.

In the final scene, Billy shares heroin with Aster using the same needle. She overdoses and dies in his arms. He desperately tries to revive her before calling for help. The film is meant to portray how relationships and drug use can spiral out of control quickly, especially for impressionable young people.

3) At another gathering, Robin is again mistaken for Ah Soon by some uncles until his identity is clarified by his mother. She explains that Robin is her youngest son returned after being given away due to hardship many years ago.

Emily and her mother Gen are packing up Emily's grandfather Henry's house after he has been moved to a nursing home for his dementia. As Emily packs up belongings and memories around the house, she has flashbacks to times with her grandfather before his condition worsened. It becomes clear through the flashbacks that Henry's dementia progressed rapidly, with him beginning to forget things and seem confused. The film flashes back to a disturbing moment where Henry did not recognize his family at a meal together. After lunch, Steve announces his plans to expand his medical practice abroad. Their daughter finally departs for her date while Eve and Steve dance together in the cluttered living room.
