Please accept this letter of reference on behalf of Jim Broderick. From September of
2014 Jim has worked with me at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a contractor, serving as an IT
engineer with the Global IT group. During this period, Jim was instrumental in
identifying and documenting IT infrastructure in project sites in Europe, Asia and the
U.S.
Jim was also instrumental in developing a system of identifying and selecting IT
infrastructure hardware elements which greatly enhanced Bio-Rad’s ability to identify IT
costs at the beginning of a project and moving those items through the purchase and
implementation phases of IT projects.
Jim demonstrated both a high level of technical knowledge of how IT network elements
work together. Jim also maintains keen insight for being able to solve technical
problems through adoption of the correct elements into an infrastructure framework.
As a key member of the Global IT Operations team Jim continually demonstrated an
excellent grasp of what is necessary to sustain and enhance IT operations. He was an
active and respected participant in all of our projects. His contribution was of value and
he will be missed.
Jim would be an outstanding asset to any organization.
