Prior to earning his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1993, Joseph Massoud worked for two years as a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Company, the global management consulting firm. After graduating from Harvard, Joseph Massoud took a position as an Associate with Colony Capital, a private fund management company based in Los Angeles, California. He then founded the investment firm Compass Group Management, LLC, in 1998. In his role as Managing Director of the firm, Joe Massoud was responsible for all of Compass’s investment decisions. He also developed relationships with investment bankers and attorneys while building Compass to approximately $1 billion in total assets by 2012.
