Microsoft has renewed its commitment to supporting French startups through several programs. It has launched Microsoft for French Tech Startups, worth €70 million over 3 years to support over 300 startups. This includes programs like BizSpark that provides free software and services to startups, and Microsoft Ventures accelerator programs that help startups with growth. Microsoft partners with incubators like Euratechnologies in Lille to provide technological and business support to startups.

Demo Day to showcase their startups to investors.
In France, our Demo Days have had some top-tier attendance, including people
like Xavier Niel, Marc Simocini, Jacques-Antoine Granjon, Axelle Lemaire,
Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet – not to mention Satya Nadella himself.
We currently receive over 250 applications for each session and we select
a maximum of 10 startups to work with. Therefore, we are really looking for

Educational marketplace Kokoroe announces funding with top French
investors
Education marketplace Kokoroe helps you find a teacher for any type of course
– whether it be math or ukulele. The all-female founding team graduated from
the 5th Microsoft Ventures Paris class and pitched on stage at Demo Day in
February 2015.

Deepomatic raises $1.4 million for visual search technology
Deepomatic (formerly known
as Smyle) was part of the 4th
Microsoft Ventures Paris class.
The team that specializes in
visual search technology pitched
at Demo Day in front of Satya
Nadella in November 2014.
In less than a year after Demo Day, the startup had raised $1.4 million in funding
with Alven Capital – one of France’s top VC funds – and Pierre Valade, the founder
of calendar app Sunrise that was acquired by Microsoft earlier this year.

Microsoft partners with Euratechnologies, one of
France’s leading startup hubs
In July 2015, Microsoft France announced that it would be partnering with the
leading French incubators and accelerators to better support their startups.
One of these partners is Euratechnologies, which is a leading startup space
based in Lille in the north of France.
Euratechnologies is a 150,000m² space that was launched in 2009 and is
entirely dedicated to technology and startups. Recognized as a leading
location for French innovation by La French Tech, Euratechnologies works with
over 140 companies, including many well-known French startups: Addictiz,
Critizr, Fitizzy and more.
Through the partnership with Euratech, Microsoft offers these leading startups
exceptional support – both technological and business – to ensure that these
