This document describes the case of a sick 5-year-old female buffalo in its 7th month of pregnancy. The buffalo presented with inappetence, head pressing, bilateral lacrimation, debility, swollen hind limbs, difficulty bearing weight, and occasional circling. Bloodwork showed microcytic anemia and microfilaria larvae were found on microscopy. Fecal analysis detected Paramphistomes eggs. The buffalo was treated with oxytetracycline, anti-inflammatories, vitamins, and dextrose saline initially with no improvement. Further testing at VHRTC found microfilaria with nuclei on Geimsa's stain. Treatment with ivermectin cured the buffalo within
