Bored or Boring - Learn the Difference and How to Use them
- 1. Are you boredor boring? Are you scared or scary?

- 4. Emotion Verbs Adjectives • There are many verbs about emotions or feelings e.g. excite interest amaze irritate horrify • You can change these to make adjectives.
- 5. -ing and –edpairs These are pairs of adjectives you can make from verbs … worrying worried interesting interested amazing amazed irritating irritated horrifying horrified Naughty Naughty: scary scared Can you think of any others?
- 6. What’s the difference? Whenwe talk about emotions or feelings, we have: • The person talking or thing you see and • The person listening or watching
- 7. The thing yousee/person talking • Us –ing The circus show was amazing. The man was so boring.
- 8. The person watching/listening •How does the person feel? • Use –ed excited bored scared amazed
- 9. The children areamazed by the contortionist. The contortionist is amazing!
