Reality is created by individual human perception and differs between people. Perception involves selecting stimuli through the senses, organizing it mentally, and interpreting it based on beliefs and needs. This perception process shapes each person's reality. Virtual reality can confuse what is real by simulating environments, showing that reality is a matter of perception rather than objective fact.

Indiopedia: a System to Acquire Legal Knowledge from the Crowd Using Games Te...Instituto i3G
This document describes a system called Indiopedia that uses crowdsourcing games to acquire legal knowledge from non-experts to expand lightweight ontologies in specific domains. Indiopedia builds on an existing legal knowledge system called Ontojuris that uses ontologies to improve legal search, but ontology building is time-consuming. Indiopedia addresses this by developing crowdsourcing games that turn the ontology expansion process into fun games for non-experts to play and contribute knowledge. The games aim to efficiently acquire semantic structures from many users to develop the legal ontologies in a scalable way. Initial experiments involved users playing games to help expand ontologies related to indigenous legislation.

The document proposes a new help desk system for Forsyth Area Memorial Hospital to support the hospital's expansion plans. The current help desk system can no longer handle the increased traffic and needs to be upgraded to improve security, support new systems being implemented, and allow technicians to work more efficiently. The proposed new system includes help desk software, an improved network, security controls that comply with HIPAA, and additional staffing. It will provide capabilities like a trouble ticket database, reporting, employee forums, and scheduling. The feasibility study found the upgrade to be operationally, technically, and economically feasible. Implementation will involve building the new system, testing it, training staff, and moving to the new location.

The document presents research on a site in Sant Adrià de Besòs for a proposed Social Innovation Incubator project. The site is located near recent major developments but the public spaces remain empty. It analyzed the local context, including the neighboring La Mina neighborhood which suffers from high unemployment, low education levels, and a young immigrant population. The project aims to address the social and economic issues through an architectural program that provides skills training and prepares people for changes in the job market.

3. This thesis proposes strengthening the mobility, water
and green corridors infrastructure as key elements
in the regeneration of an industrial neighborhood
of Santiago. The case of study was an industrial
obsolescent area in the center of Santiago that used to
serve as a railway connecting different factories on the
early 1900s. The project recognized as key elements
of the future transformation the same infrastructure
that contributed to generate the initial dissociation
and boundaries. In this case, the urban train to Til Til,
the Mapocho riverfront, and the Parque de Los Reyes
Park.

saltpeter. As part of its administrative independence
process (repopulating the Maria Elena community),
the company SQM has commissioned a study looking
at the possibilities for use transformations and new
vocations in projecting a strategic vision for 2030.
As a result of the citizen participation we recognized
the virtues and the opportunities for regeneration,
generating five complementary strategies for Maria
Elena’s development: Industrial Heritage Tourism
+ Hotels + Community Equipment + Community
orchards + Technological Mining Investigation
Centers.

7. Positioned in a strategic area in relation to the
proximity and the concentration of mining sites, the
Sierra Gorda Hotel originates from the necessity of
the mining companies to outsource the administration
and costs derived from maintaining the workers near
to the mining sites.
The Hotel was built with modules and its program
consists in middle standard accomodations, interior
and exterior public spaces as well as community areas.
The main design strategy consisted in the creation of
an exterior boulevard as an element to connect the
different institutional and lodging buildings.

8. Strategic plan for the growth projects and definitions
of standards for the camps and industrial zones of the
mining company Doña Inés de Collahuasi. The study
results were translated into a series of Master plans for
each and every one of the existing camps. In addition,
we develop a zoning guide for the Industrial areas.
As a conclusion of the population growth analysis in
sites and according to the growth of the production
processes projections, we determined the necessity
of generating a new camp in the Coposa area. The
Pukara project allowed us to design a mining camp
from scratch, rethinking the current standards of
habitability and comfort in mining settlements.

10. Strategy for optimizing and improving camp standards
of company Doña Inés de Collahuasi. This master
plan is conceived based on the necessity of improving
the habitability and comfort standards of the different
categories of workers in the Doña Ines de Collahuasi
mining camp. The main strategy was to eliminate
the low density pavilions that were significantly
deteriorated. This operation allowed us to propose
a new layout that would break with the monotony
elevating the camp standards. The new layout
consisted in 3 stories lodging buildings, connected
internally and incorporating the existing buildings that
can’t be replaced. In addition, the improvement and
increase of leisure facilities.

camps are: Planta Valle, La Cabrerana y Riecillos.
Planta Valle Site camp corresponds to the largest
camp of Andina 244 with a capacity of 6,000 people
and it is related to the extraction and manufacture of
the different copper products. It is because of this that
said project is located on the highest area, therefore,
on an environmental and geographical challenging
