This document summarizes aspects of Bogota, Colombia in the past, present, and future regarding education, environment, transportation, and welfare. In the past, education expansion was slow through the early 20th century, but transformations occurred in the 1950s. Currently, education reaches all social classes but is becoming mediocre. In the future, education will involve full days of motivated study for all. In the past, the environment was cleaner but deterioration has increased; in the future it will be protected and Colombia will have the world's greatest natural wealth. Transportation evolved from trams to buses and TransMilenio currently, and in the future cars may fly using natural gas only. Past security and entertainment differed from the present insecure
