our cultures epidemic of body image
dissatisfaction caused by social media,
advertising, and unrealistic expectations
that are set by society
 It is important to change the attitudes of
what is accepted and placing mental
health above physical appearance.

space to share struggles with body image,
anxiety, depression, and social

 Create a website where others can share
and be included
 Start a Facebook group to start a
community
 Use a hashtag or sponsored posts to
create awareness
 Create an Instagram account with
inspirational quotes on topics about body
image
Timetable of

 Create a website through Google Sites
right away. The main goal is to create a
format that is simple and easy to follow
in order to comment, share, and like.
 Post three times a week of helpful
information, research, and useful
resources
 Gain attraction and create a community
to start using the website.
 Begin to reply and help others
Participants
 Who is allowed to participate under Body
Positivity and how?
 Everyone is encouraged to participate
who has struggled with anxiety,
depression, body dissatisfaction,
social media comparisons.
Guidelines
 Respect every individual
 No hate or inappropriate language will
be used
 Be sensitive to others, especially when
they are stating struggles and difficulties
they are experiencing
 Respect opposing views
 Use disclaimers
 Respect copyright laws and Fair Use
