BOD Group is a family-owned business established in 1998 that is the largest manufacturer of optical discs in the Baltic States. It has three business segments: optical disc production with plants in Lithuania and Estonia, audiovisual content distribution, and solar PV cell and module manufacturing. BOD Group has over 150 employees, exports 85% of production to over 30 countries, and reinvests 15-20% of revenues into R&D. It aims to grow solar PV sales to over 90% of total revenues by 2016 as that segment expands rapidly.

• Optical Disc segment
Despite the shrinking market of CDs and DVDs, due to our optimal equipment
capacity and flexibility by adapting to our customers needs, we prevail the stable
and even increased market position. Together with a sales share from additional
services like authoring and premastering we are going to keep our market share
for the next years.
• Audiovisual content distribution
Though content distribution is still highly based on packed media (CD/DVD/Blu-ray
discs), new formats and market segments like e-commerce, box office and event
management take place. By using the advantages of compete package of content
rights, and employing a full range of distribution segments, BOD Group manages
to offer the cost-efficient content licensing and distribution services. This segment
is further developing in the Baltic States.
• Solar segment
As the solar PV market is continuously developing and maturing, and the market
“bubble” exploded, there is a perfect time to enter the market with the latest and
most efficient technologies. BOD Group companies will have a strong competitive
advantage by using cost effective perfect quality production and one-stop-shop
services. We expect to gain a strong market position by entering BIPV market
segment.
