Bo Jackson was a star football player at Auburn University, winning the Heisman Trophy in 1985. He had a brief but spectacular career playing both professional football and baseball. Born in 1962 in Alabama, Bo (whose childhood nickname was shortened from "wild boar") grew up with 9 siblings and attended McAdory High School, later graduating from Auburn University in 1995. Though his football career was cut short by a hip injury in 1991, Bo Jackson remains a legendary dual-sport athlete and now lives in retirement with his family.
