www.BlueMizu.com Page 7
Soltan is an easy to use sun cream, which supports and protects
the skins natural tanning. Soltan offers great full UV protection,
and it is Boots own Brand so you will find that Soltan will be a
little bit cheaper than some of the other sun cream products.
Boots - http://bit.ly/1CL0I7o
MALIBU:
Not only does Malibu Spray smell delicious it’s also brilliant if you
are in a rush or on a city break. It barely needs any rubbing in as
it doesn't feel sticky when you spray it on. The genius bit about
this product is that you can spray it straight on to wet skin and it
won’t go streaky or white, quick and easy protection.

GARNIER AMBRE SOLAIRE
If you're a traditionalist then you should probably stick to Ambre
Solaire. Good old thick cream, bit of a chore to rub in but well
worth it for the ultimate protection, well trusted brand and been
around for years.
Tesco’s - http://bit.ly/1NNQSo4
NIVEA:
This product protects and refreshes, the spray gives a cooling
effect on the skin which is a welcome delight in the hot weather.
It also leaves the skin feeling smooth and silky and doesn’t feel

sticky at all. Make sure you have covered yourself fully as the
spray is completely transparent.
Amazon - http://amzn.to/1HHVDxQ
Riemann P20:
Riemann P20 is a little more expensive than some other brands
on the list. This is mostly because of the strength of the original

protection with just one application and is very water resistant,
even after swimming frequently throughout the day.

What’s Hot This Summer for Men and
Women’s Swimwear and Where to Look
Men’s
Swim shorts
If height isn’t your strong point, grab yourself a pair that hits
around the mid-thigh area like the pictures above. This will give
you the look of added height by making your legs look longer. If
you were to go for ones longer than that, you could end up
looking like a kid wearing his dad’s shorts! With the short shorts

at least you will be able to show off the leg muscles you have
been working on at the gym.

Long Swim Shorts
If you're on the taller side, you may want to try swim shorts that
come down to the knee like the pictures above. This will actually
give your body proportion when walking along the beach, as any
shorter than these shorts your legs will look much too long for
your body.

Board Shorts
The pictures above are Board Shorts, and the title gives it away
as to why they are called that; as these bad boys were designed
for surfers of the sea. These particular shorts are very popular all
over the world. Some of the differences you may see are the
waist is not elasticated, you may have more pockets, and they
are very thin and light for easy quick drying.

So some girls prefer a swimsuit because they make you feel a bit
more comfortable, as in you don’t feel like your half naked and
mainly because they can hide your wobbly bits! But swimsuits are
still sexy and in some cases classier than bikinis.

Flight Airline Lists to Help You with Booking
the Right Flight for You!
Are you confused about what airline to use?
Do you only know of a couple of airlines?
Or are you stuck in your ways and only use the same airline each
time?
Do you always book Package deals or all inclusive?
We are going to give you a list of all different airlines to look
through before you book your holiday, and then tell you how you
can potentially save money booking your holiday separately. Plus,
how we think airlines work with their pricing.

Virgin Atlantic - http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/us/en.html
Whizz Air - https://wizzair.com/en-GB/Country/GB#tab1
Firstly, if you are someone that always goes with the same
airline, then what you should do is have a gander through these
airlines and even save this to your desktop for each time you go
away and share this with your friends. Just adding in the details
of when you want to fly will potentially save you money,
remember do your research!
Most of us will always book a package holiday rather than
booking flights and accommodation separately, probably because
it is less hassle and easier. However, it really doesn’t take long to
Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays
www.BlueMizu.com Page 49
do the research and if you could conjure that up within a couple
of hours and it means possible savings of a few hundred pounds,
it’s got to be worth it right? Don’t let these out sourced
companies do the easy work for you and take a nice chunk of
commission that you pay! Be smart Save Money.
Ok lastly, this is just a theory and our opinion, but I want to tell
you about when it’s best to book your flights in order to
potentially get the best price for your flight.
We call it the 3 stage rule. We believe that there are 3 types of
ways that people book their flights; the first is the Early Doors.
These people will book as soon as the flights become available or
a year in advance no matter what… they will always do this. The
second is the Middle Man, these people know where they want to
go and when but in no rush to book and will book around 4-6
months before the flight is due to depart. Then there is the third,
The Stragglers, these people always leave the flight till the last
minute or even a month before but will not budge on the dates
they want.
Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays
www.BlueMizu.com Page 50
Airlines, we believe know this and you will find that when the
flights first become available, they will be at quite a high price as
we believe that they know the early birds will pay and book no
matter what. (Early Doors)
The prices then can drop in the middle, a few months before the
flight departs to fill up the plane. (Middle Man)
Again, airlines potentially know that there will always be the late
bookings where people will need to get on the plane no matter
what, so push prices up again as people will still pay. (The
Stragglers)
Please Note: The best thing to do is not book too early or too late
and check through each airline that fly’s to your destination. Pick
a date, but be flexible, as you may see the day that you would
like to fly is say £100 more than a date 3 days later. Do your Re-
Search and possibly save yourself some spending money!
We hope this has given you some helpful guidance when
searching through and booking your flight. Our theory is our own
through personal experience, but why don’t you give it a try?!

GREECE
Nestled in between the Aegean Seas and the Mediterranean,
Greece has one of the best climates on the planet, with hot, dry
summers and mild winters with not a lot of rainfall at all.
Northern Greece experiences its fair share of cold, snowy winters
but this is mostly in the mountain regions. Greece has fantastic
views and real character throughout.

CYPRUS
Lying right in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, the small
island of Cyprus has of course a Mediterranean climate, with
warm to hot summers almost 8-9 months of the year and very
mild winters. In fact Cyprus has the warmest winters of all the
Mediterranean countries. Snowfall only occurs here up in the
Mountains in the centre of the Island.
ITALY
Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays
www.BlueMizu.com Page 53
Italy has something for everyone and has a variety of climates
throughout the country, including a Mediterranean warm climate
along the coastlines, and a continental climate in the central and
northern parts of the country. Where the altitudes are higher,
winters can be cold and harsh, with lots of snowfall; however
summers are hot in Italy. The coastal areas have hot summers
and very mild winters.
SPAIN
Spain has a Mediterranean like climate which covers most of
Spain, however the weather can be more extreme than your
other Mediterranean countries mentioned above. Spain does have
very hot summers but winters can be very cold and harsh, the

driest part of the country seems to be the South East, the
coastline itself does not experience any dry spells.
PORTUGAL

about. You will find the southern region is warmer and drier than
the northern parts, which can be a bit cooler and rainy. Summer
temperatures average around 95 degrees. Winter temperatures

northern mountains. A big plus is the country can receive up to
3200 hours of sunshine a year.

and rarely see the temperature drop to as low as 38F for a couple
of hours during a cold snap. When looking at the warmest to the
coldest time of year there is only 12 degrees difference. The only
real difference between seasons here is the rainfall. Please note
hurricanes can occur here and swipe over 700 Islands that cover
the whole of the Bahamas.

Travel Insurance – How To Buy Good Travel
Insurance and Who Are The Best Companies
To Go With?
A lot of people think they might not need travel insurance when
they go on holiday and they couldn’t be more wrong! It covers
you for a multitude of things not just sickness….if your flight is
cancelled, if you have to fly home for an emergency, if something
is stolen, it really is worth paying that little bit extra for.
When buying travel insurance the first thing to look out for is the
coverage limit on your medical expenses. This is not something
you want to go cheap on, in case you have an accident, so make
sure you check how much they cover you for, before paying for
it!
Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays
www.BlueMizu.com Page 106
A really good policy will include the following things:
 Cover any legal costs that may occur
 If the company you book through goes bankrupt while you
are abroad, you have financial protection
 Cover you for illness and injury
 Cover the majority of countries in the world
 Cover emergency situations in case you need to fly home
 Cover cancellations; flight, hotel etc
 Coverage for your electronics (this maybe minimal and give
you an option to increase to as much as you want)
 24 HR emergency services
 Cover stolen, damaged or lost items; jewelry/baggage etc
If the policy you are looking at doesn’t cover at least these
points then don’t go with them!
Travel Insurance Companies, who do you go with?
So most people know to go to either GO COMPARE or
MONEY SUPERMARKET to compare the best travel insurance
deals. These are still pretty good and will give you the
cheapest rates available, but just be careful that you are
covered for everything mentioned above in any policy that
you pick.

Just adding in the details of when you want to fly will potentially save you money, remember do your research! Most of us will always book a package holiday rather than booking flights and accommodation separately, probably because it is less hassle and easier. However, it really doesn’t take long to
  • 49. Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays www.BlueMizu.com Page 49 do the research and if you could conjure that up within a couple of hours and it means possible savings of a few hundred pounds, it’s got to be worth it right? Don’t let these out sourced companies do the easy work for you and take a nice chunk of commission that you pay! Be smart Save Money. Ok lastly, this is just a theory and our opinion, but I want to tell you about when it’s best to book your flights in order to potentially get the best price for your flight. We call it the 3 stage rule. We believe that there are 3 types of ways that people book their flights; the first is the Early Doors. These people will book as soon as the flights become available or a year in advance no matter what… they will always do this. The second is the Middle Man, these people know where they want to go and when but in no rush to book and will book around 4-6 months before the flight is due to depart. Then there is the third, The Stragglers, these people always leave the flight till the last minute or even a month before but will not budge on the dates they want.
  • 50. Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays www.BlueMizu.com Page 50 Airlines, we believe know this and you will find that when the flights first become available, they will be at quite a high price as we believe that they know the early birds will pay and book no matter what. (Early Doors) The prices then can drop in the middle, a few months before the flight departs to fill up the plane. (Middle Man) Again, airlines potentially know that there will always be the late bookings where people will need to get on the plane no matter what, so push prices up again as people will still pay. (The Stragglers) Please Note: The best thing to do is not book too early or too late and check through each airline that fly’s to your destination. Pick a date, but be flexible, as you may see the day that you would like to fly is say £100 more than a date 3 days later. Do your Re- Search and possibly save yourself some spending money! We hope this has given you some helpful guidance when searching through and booking your flight. Our theory is our own through personal experience, but why don’t you give it a try?!

  • 105. Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays www.BlueMizu.com Page 105 Travel Insurance – How To Buy Good Travel Insurance and Who Are The Best Companies To Go With? A lot of people think they might not need travel insurance when they go on holiday and they couldn’t be more wrong! It covers you for a multitude of things not just sickness….if your flight is cancelled, if you have to fly home for an emergency, if something is stolen, it really is worth paying that little bit extra for. When buying travel insurance the first thing to look out for is the coverage limit on your medical expenses. This is not something you want to go cheap on, in case you have an accident, so make sure you check how much they cover you for, before paying for it!
  • 106. Blue Mizu’s Ultimate Guide To Summer Holidays www.BlueMizu.com Page 106 A really good policy will include the following things:  Cover any legal costs that may occur  If the company you book through goes bankrupt while you are abroad, you have financial protection  Cover you for illness and injury  Cover the majority of countries in the world  Cover emergency situations in case you need to fly home  Cover cancellations; flight, hotel etc  Coverage for your electronics (this maybe minimal and give you an option to increase to as much as you want)  24 HR emergency services  Cover stolen, damaged or lost items; jewelry/baggage etc If the policy you are looking at doesn’t cover at least these points then don’t go with them! Travel Insurance Companies, who do you go with? So most people know to go to either GO COMPARE or MONEY SUPERMARKET to compare the best travel insurance deals. These are still pretty good and will give you the cheapest rates available, but just be careful that you are covered for everything mentioned above in any policy that you pick.
