This document discusses ROSCA (Rotating Credit and Saving Association), which is a method used in Latin America, Asia, and Africa where a group of people agree to make periodic payments into a fund that is given to each member in turn. The proposal is for a decentralized, self-managed app using smart contracts to allow users to create saving rounds, deposit and withdraw funds, and receive reminders for their turns with payment rules and time management enforced by the smart contracts. Looking forward, the app could integrate decentralized finance protocols to earn tokens for participation and allow users to vote on how security deposits are managed.
