2. You made it to my blog. So… what do you do now that you’re here?

3. This is a “post.” It begins with a title , the date it was posted, and the author of the post. Under that is the actual post. Think of it as the beginning of a conversation. In your case, it will feel more like the beginning of a class discussion. But, instead of raising your hand to respond, you’ll all type your responses here on the blog.

4. To read what other people have posted, or to respond to the post yourself, click “Comments.” (The number in parenthesis tells you how many comments have been posted so far.)

5. Here is where you can read what your classmates think about the discussion question. You’ll see: Date & time of post Blogger’s response Author of post

6. But when you are ready to “post,” you’ll do it here. Your name and eChalk e-mail address will automatically be filled in because you’re logged in to eChalk. Type your thoughtful, well-written, gramatically correct response in the comment box. Click “Save comment” when you’re finished, and it will be published to the blog. blah blah blah

7. If you click on the title of the post, you will now see that the number of comments has increased. Your comment will be at the end of the list.
