Blockchain Challenge, convegno promosso da The Blockchain Council con il contributo di: Associazione Italiana Sviluppo Marketing, Excellence Consulting, Reti.
3. IN UN Database BLOCKCHAIN:
• Possono essere aggiunti dati
• Non possono essere modificati
• Non possono essere eliminati
• Possono essere sempre verificati
NB: il sistema non controlla la qualità del dato
5. Quattro possibili applicazioni della
Blockchain al settore sanitario:
• La gestione del paziente sul lungo
periodo. Seguire il paziente
attraverso tutto il suo percorso di
cura
• Confrontare i diversi indici del
paziente
• tutti i dati sono agganciati ad
una specie di libro mastro, che
ne garantisce l’uniformità e i
legami corretti
• Regolarità e trasparenza
• verificare automaticamente le
affermazioni e le richieste dei
diversi attori coinvolti
• Gestione integrale della filiera il
monitoraggio dell’intero processo
di acquisto di beni o servizi sarà più
semplice e completo.

11. • The first key benefit of blockchain is decentralized management
• The second key benefit is the immutable audit trail
• The third is data provenance
• The fourth benefit is both robustness and availability
• The final key benefit of blockchain is related to the improved security and privacy using cryptographic
algorithms
12. ➢ Among the biomedical/health care applications, the one most discussed is related to the adoption of
blockchains as an underlying infrastructure for Health Information Exchange (HIE), or health transactions
between patients, providers, payers, and other relevant parties
➢ There are several potential challenges to be considered when adopting blockchain technology in the
biomedical/health care domain:
• The first challenge is related to transparency and confidentiality. As “everyone can see everything” on a
blockchain network heightened transparency and decreased confidentiality, such as open transparency
of information during transfer, is usually considered a limitation of blockchain
• The second challenge is related to speed and scalability. The transaction time of blockchain can be long,
depending on the protocol, and such a speed constraint may limit the scalability of blockchain-based
applications.
• The last challenge is the threat of a 51% attack. A blockchain network may suffer from the “51% attack,”
14. • Parliamo sempre di più di personalized medicine
• Big data? (Prof. Halamka Harvard Medical school)
