Binge Drinking among teens

4.  Binge drinking is a very serious problem
among teens.
 Intoxication can wreck havoc on a person’s life
and change it permanently.
 Alcohol impairs judgment causing one to do
and say things that he or she may later regret.
 Often the person doesn’t remember what was
said or done.

5.  Binge drinking impairs judgment, so teens are
more likely to take risks they might not have
when they are sober.
 Advertisements by liquor stores, and
corporations make drinking seem attractive and
fun.
 Binge drinking is actually extremely dangerous
because consuming large amounts at one time
can lead to alcohol poisoning, vomiting,
seizures, confusion, mood changes, rape,
STDs, coma and possible death.
