The Shakespeare´s Globe
 The Shakespeare´s
    Globe theatre was
    built in 1599 for Peter
    Streer, it was near
    the Tamesis´s river in
     London city. it is
    believed that it was a
    polygon of
    approximately 30
    diameter meters.
It was formed by
the scenario and
the gallery, which
can accommodate
other actors and
musicians,
sometimes hidden
to the public. Its
basis was a square
platform.
 Had hatches
    (hatch) in the
    stage floor, which
    may have been
    developed scenes
    sepulchral
    (Hamlet) and
    appearances from
    below.
 Alloweda total of 3,351
 spectators.
 In 1613 a fire destroyed the facilities
of the theatre, however, he was
    immediately rebuilt in 1614 and
demolished in 1644. The year 1997,
the theatre reopened under the name
    of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre with
respect for the forms of the old
    building.
It is still used to
represent works of
theatre in summer
but only has a
capacity of
approximately 1500
people since the
reformed.
It accounted for
works such as:
king Lear, July
César, Macbeth,
Hamlet, Othello,
the tempest.

  abbey that was
  built by Edward
  the Confessor
  between the years

 His style was Romanesque until it was
rebuilt in gothic style between 1245 and
 1517 and added a chapel.
 In it the
  coronatio
  n place for
  most of
  the
  English
  monarchs.
 St, Edward's

 the

 They were
 buried there

 and VII,
 Edward I, III
 and V and
 many more.
 Still used
 today as a
 church and
 as a historic
 monument.
The Houses Of
 Parliament.
  (Palace Of Westminter)
T he Palace of
Westminster, also known as
the Houses of
Parliament or Westminster
Palace, is the meeting place of
the two houses of the
Parliament of the United Kingdom
—the House of Lords and the
House of Commons.

T here was 2 in 1512 and
1834 fire that destroyed and it had
to be rebuilt again the 2 times.
I nside this huge
building there are two
debating chambers
(House of Lords and
the House of
Commons).
There are
also MP’s
offices
inside.
A great way to see
the Houses of
Parliament and other
London landmarks is
by using the
Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour
 which always gets
great reviews.
This is one of the most
 impressive of London’s
 buildings where the politicians of
the country sit in two “houses”.
The Palace is one of the centres
of political life in the United
 Kingdom; "Westminster" has
become a metonym for the UK
 Parliament, and the
 Westminster system of
 government has taken its name
 after it.
Big Ben is the na
                     me with which
 one knows to the
                      Great bell of
 Westminster, the
                     bigger than the
 bells that are in th
                      e Tower of the
 Clock, located in
                    the londres city.
  The tower is in th
                       e northwest
  corner of the Briti
                      sh parliament's
 building. The Big
                      Ben was built in
 the 19 century. It
                      is believed that
he/she receives
                   their name in
honor at the first
                    in charge of the
construction, Ben
                     jamin Hall.
In the Big Ben is not
necessary to go to that
called area Westminster, of
London; it is more, it is not
even necessary to go to
London. The best place to
hear the beautiful melody
that this bell offers us only
has to syntonize the BBC
and from its favorite seat
in its house can hear it
every hour.
I USE OF THE NAME

The name "Big Ben" is used
universally to refer to the
tower in general. However,
officially he/she refers
specifically to the main bell
inside the tower. This bell
takes charge of counting
the hours, its approximate
weight is of thirteen tons.
History and construction

The Big Ben, it was lifted as part of
the new building designed for you
talk barry, after the old palace of
Westminster was destroyed by the
fire of the night of the 16 of october,
of 1834. The tower is designed to
the Victorian Gothic style, and
he/she has 96,3 m of height. The
Gothic style was chosen finally by
the necessity of the British empire
of differing of the rest of nations in
those days that they considered
less strong, where its parliaments
were governed mainly by the
classic style.
THE CLOCK AND THEIR FACES

   Each lateral one has a
  spherical structure of iron of
  23 feet of diameter that
  contains 312 pieces of
  opaque glass. Some of these
  pieces can be removed to
  revise the pointers of the
clock. In the base of each
face of the clock there is an
  inscription in Latin: 'SALVAM
  DOMINATES FAC REGINAM
  NOSTRAM VICTORIAM
  PRIMAM' (God keeps our
  queen Victoria I).
AT THE PRESENT TIME

Now it is seen that for that seen the tower “big ben” he/she has leaned about 30
grades, people don't notice it almost anything, and most of people don't arrive him
that is if they don't say it for the tv, that is due to that takes many years in foot and
every time her weight I/you/he/she was but big in a side that in another.

                            OTHER SIMILAR TOWERS

A replica of the tower of about 6 meters made of metal, well-known
as Little ben it is located it fences of victoria stations. Other towers in
different places of the world have been inspired by the aspect of the
"Big Ben", including the tower of the clock of the "Station of Lyon", in
Paris, the Tower of the Peace of the parliament from Canada, in
Ottawa. The monumental Clock of Pachuca in Mexico and the tower
of the clock in Victoria (Seychelles).
