This document discusses Marcelo Bielsa's system of play with the Chilean national soccer team from 2007 to 2010 against Venezuela, Colombia, and Uruguay. It describes Chile playing a 3-3-1-3 formation that emphasized high pressing, man marking in midfield to dominate defenses, and using filtrated central passes to the number 10 player (Matias Fernandez, Valdivia, or Orellana) while wingers created width and strikers attacked depth.
