2. Goal : How to make water
drop microscope ?
Equipment: A used milk can
with a
diameter of ± 8 cm,
glass, mirror, cork,
scissors, nail, plaster,
mosquito/ant,
water, can opener.

3. Step 1 : Remove the upper
part and bottom part
of can by
using a can opener.
Step 2 : Cut the milk can
into a
sheet.
Step 3 : Make a rectangular

4. Step 4 : Then at 5 cm of is length,
bend it to 90o
. Make a hole in
the middle of the bend with a
nail.
Step 5 : Attach the can which is
shaped like an
inverted L to a glass
placed upside down,
positioning the hole about 2 cm
over the base of the glass by using
the plaster.
Step 6: To increase the illumination
of object, put the mirror

5. Step 7 : Put a mosquito or ant on
the base of the glass.
Step 8 : Drop water on that hole.
The water functions
as a lens.
Step 9 : Bring your eye close to
