The epidemic of heart failure and atherosclerosis which plagues the
modern world may paradoxically be aggravated by the pervasive use
of statin drugs and it has to do with the mitochondrial dysfunction,
which means that the little generators in the heart cells get sick.
Our heart is a very high energy muscle and it requires thriving
