The Bermuda Triangle is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where several aircraft and ships are said to have mysteriously disappeared. Located between Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico, some of the notable disappearances in the Triangle include USS Cyclops which carried over 300 people, and Flight 19, a group of 5 US Navy bombers that vanished despite good weather conditions. While natural explanations for disappearances have been proposed, like compass problems, the Gulf Stream, and violent weather, the document concludes that the lack of evidence found at disappearance sites points to the Triangle having supernatural elements, making it a mystery still to be solved.

• Compass variations-Compass problems are one of the cited phrases in many
Triangle incidents. While some have theorized that unusual local magnetic
anomalies may exist in the area, such anomalies have not been found.
• Gulf Stream-The Gulf Stream is a deep ocean current that originates in the Gulf of
Mexico and then flows through the Straits of Florida into the North Atlantic.
• Violent weather-Tropical cyclones are powerful storms, which form in tropical
waters and have historically cost thousands of lives lost and caused billions of
dollars in damage.
• Methane hydrates-An explanation for some of the disappearances has focused on
the presence of large fields of methane hydrates.

7. Conclusion
It’s hard to come to a final judgment on the
Bermuda Triangle and its' phenomenal events.
The lack of evidence to tracing the missing
boats, planes, and their members leads me to
believe the Triangle is supernatural. It’s a
mystery yet to be solved.
