Profile
A professionally trained filmmaker with over 15 years’ experience; as Producer,
Director and Lighting Cameraman. I have worked in TV (Documentary, Drama and
Comedy), Feature films and produced a wide range of vocational film and media
training initiatives.
I relocated to Qatar in 2009, where I helped set up the Doha Film Institute. Since
then, I have produced hundreds of education and training programs, and over
150 Short Films with aspiring filmmakers. I have a proven track record in working
with young people, dynamic project creation and management, community
outreach, creative development and education sector collaborations.

I produce a wide range of education and vocational training initiatives at
Doha Film Institute; including workshops, masterclasses, film productions and
collaborations with schools, colleges and universities. DFI is responsible for
building the foundations of Qatar’s film industry, and it all begins with training
and education.

I helped run the Education Program at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival in Doha.
