4. Salakanegara motif
This one batik motif turns out to be a royal theme in the land of Batavia for the
first time around 130 AD. Taking its own name refers to the belief of the people
at that time who thought Mount Salak had a great strength.
6. Loreng ondel-ondel motif
Ondel-ondel is one of Betawi culture for a long time. The Clown with
distinctive look is an icon of Jakarta. Now, therefore, as a form of cultural
acquisition, ondel-ondel was incorporated into the batik motif and created
the Loreng Ondel-ondel motif. many Betawi people believe that the creation
of ondel-ondel was originally to repel reinforcements or drive out
something bad.
8. Nusa kelapa motif
The natural landscape seems to be one of the beauties of the Betawi motif.
That is also what is seen in the Nusa Kelapa motif. this motif has a design idea
from the Ceila Map created in 1482-1521 during the reign of King Siliwangi.
From this map, it is known that Jakarta was formerly called Nusa Kelapa. Then,
the name changed to Sunda Kelapa, changed to Jayakarta, changed to Batavia,
and finally created Jakarta. Well, the natural motif is what then illustrates how
Jakarta at that time was still full of beautiful nature, even the mountains and
rice fields that were spread out.
10. Ransamala motif
This motif turned out to be the portrayal of the Netherlands when it
entered the Sunda Kelapa region. At that time, the Sunda Kelapa region
was still a jungle filled with Rasamala tree species. Many Betawi people at
that time considered the tree sacred because of its distinctive odor and
its trunk could be made as starch or fragrant incense.

The Monas batik motif is a contemporary batik motif developed by the
Batik group in Marunda. With the theme of preserving Betawi Coastal
culture, Monas batik motifs appear with the dominance of red and yellow
colors that are challenging and cheerful.
14. Ciliwung motif
The Ciliwung Batik motif is made by the society of the Ciliwung River bank.
It is said that the Portuguese and Dutch rulers were so interested in the
Ciliwung River that they intended to control Betawi. As the name implies,
the wearer of this batik is expected to become a center of attraction and
a symbol of sustenance that continues to flow like a stream of the Ciliwung
River.
16. Pucuk Rebung motif
Pucuk rebung Motif is inspired by the shape of bamboo sprout, this batik
symbolizes that the human should be useful to other as the bamboo which
is very useful for human life.
