daily tribal meetings and meetings with the local Government Officials. Received numerous
certificates of achievements and awards during this deployment. Duties included attending
conferences, reading, interpreting, and translating official documents, assisted during interviews
by translating Arabic to English and English to Arabic, provided information on the cultural
background, customs, and courtesies followed throughout Iraq. Attached for 3 months to the
Civil Affairs Office and 3 months with the Iraqi Military Forces for training.
