Financial Aid Technician 08/04-10/05
Specialized Program Duties:
• Create, maintain, and present the Financial Aid Orientations and scholarship seminars for on campus
and distance learning students
• Work with the counseling staff to create a bridge program for SAP students, thus working as a united
force, to ensure a higher quality program and to achieve a higher rate of graduation for the student
body
• Collaborate with the counseling staff to include a time management segment in the orientation
process to assist students in making more informed decisions regarding class load
• Create and implement a rubric system of student employee evaluations and hiring techniques.
• Create conflict resolution practices, such as bi-weekly office meetings, counselor training times,
secret student evaluators, and mock phone and in-person training techniques
• Initiate and organize a student employee-sharing program: worked with the other enrollment offices to
