Banksy is a famous stencil artist known for his controversial street art and graffiti that spreads political and social messages. His artwork often portrays struggles in society and is meant to open eyes and spread truth. While controversial, his art has helped evolve street art into a form of rebellion and resistance against issues like mass surveillance, war, and social problems. Some of his most iconic works address themes like ordinary people being like rats in cities, the ignorance of modern lifestyles, and political issues at the Israel-Palestine border and after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
