The document outlines a project called "Banglar Fashal" which aims to create a digital farmer-consumer network in Natore and Khagrachari districts of Bangladesh to address issues small farmers face like lack of fair prices and ensure safe, nutritious food is provided to consumers at fair prices. The proposed solution is an online platform that connects small farmers to consumers, provides training to farmers on good agricultural practices, and facilitates traceability throughout the supply chain from field to consumer.

The importance of marketing to any business can not be over emphasized . There are so many defects in the present
marketing system such as the way of making the prospective customers know the products the firms have, locating
the right firms that have the products needed by consumers. The broad objective of this work is to assess the use of
emarketing by agribusiness firms in South Eastern Nigeria. Specifically, the study ascertains the extent of use of
emarketing by agribusiness firm in south east, the perception of the agribusiness firms to the use of emarketing in
their business, and the performance of firms as they age in e-marketing. The data were obtained from primary
sources through well-structured questionnaire, observation and oral interviews. The data were analyzed using
descriptive statistics, regression and likert rating scale techniques. Findings from the study show that e-marketing
has not be fully adopted in south east Nigeria, and that e-marketing when well-practiced can help reduce cost, reduce
time, promote sales, improves sales and increase production generally.

A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR ONLINE MARKETING OF AGRICULTURAL GREENHOUSE PRODUCTS ...IAEME Publication
One third population of our country is depended on the agriculture business directly or indirectly and hence it is proven that we are an agriculture country. Having more than 30.02%1 contribution in GDP, agriculture plays the significant role in Indian economy. In last two decades everything is being converted into digital platforms globally. All industries became the digital and adopted paperless transactions. Following the same way in marketing, organizations started selling their product on e-commerce platforms. Promotion activities have started in social media like e-mail, websites, messages etc. Being understood the convenience, effectiveness and efficiency of digitalization Indian Government also launched “Digital India” scheme under which Government is promoting the use of technology in organizational function. Even though it seems somewhat inconvenient to use these types of technologies in unorganized sectors like agriculture, Government of India has announced in its “Union Budget 2016-2017 central Government stated that, the Unified Agricultural marketing e-platform will be launched for wholesale markets in India and 100% FDI to be allowed through FIPB route in marketing of food Products produced and manufactured in India. Considering these changes are going to affect the marketing and trading of agricultural products tremendously, this study is initiating the discussion regarding the possibilities of the digitalization in agricultural business.

Objective
We want environment friendly agriculture system.
To ensure fair price for the farmer product.
Safe product for consumer at fair price.
Safe and nutrition food for community.
Improvement of rural livelihoods.
Adoption of good agriculture practices for the farming community.
Ensure transparency of traceability in different stage of value chain (from field to
consumer).
Problem Statement
Cost of production is increased due to increase of input cost.
80% of the farmers are small & marginal, they are holding 25% of the arable land,
feeding 70% of the population, but they are being deprived in aspect of the price of
their produce.
These small farmers purchase the input from retail and sell their produce at
wholesale price. Most of the time, they don’t get even government declared price.
Indiscriminate use of hazardous chemicals, growth hormones and ripening agent is
creating an adverse impact on consumer health and the environment as well. .
Value chain stakeholders are not interested to procure from small and marginal
2. Page 2
farmers, because of their small quantities and higher transaction costs, inconsistent
quality/standard.
Consumer specially the higher middle class are reluctant to purchase unless they
are sure about the source, quality & safety of products.
Greedy middleman adds chemicals for more profit.
Solution Statement
Empowerment of small & marginal farmer (by generation) organized locally for
access to finance, information & technology. Finally to farmer-consumer network
under digital platform can improve their livelihood and environment as well.
“Banglar Fashal” will facilitate support to produce safe food and transfer it to the
consumers through Good Agriculture Practice (GAP), green processing &
packaging system.
Digital platform will facilitate farmers to market & promote their locally produced
product. It will also facilitate traceability of goods.
Enterprise Humanity limited will arrange training for farmers on different field like
farming, sorting, processing, packaging and ICT etc.
Farmers will get access to low cost & high quality inputs through digital platform.
