All the great Chess Players in the world be it Vishwanathan Anand or Bobby Fischer, were
fortunate to learn chess at very early age. Unfortunately, most of the youngsters in India do
not get such an opportunity due to lack of facilities. Champions Chess Academy is set up
with objective of training youngsters in the game of Chess. The objective of Chess
Academy are listed below.
Catch Them Young - To train children in the age group of 6-15. Early
training in chess is important since 80% of brain growth in Children
happens before age of10
Intensive Training - Provide intensive training in both theory , practical
and games.
Exposure - Expose children to competitive chess at State, National and
International level and groom Chess Champions of Tomorrow.

 First Prize winner in Karnataka State Sub Junior Chess Championship and three
times top ranking player in Karnataka Junior Chess Championship.
 Represented Karnataka State three times in National Junior and Sub Junior
Championship.
 Internationally rated Chess Player.Rating 1751.
 Founder of Champions Chess Academy for training young children.
 Academic qualification – B.E – UVCE college Bangalore (1994-1998)
 Work experience in reputed companies like Mind Tree for past 10 years. (19992009)
 Presently training students with age group of 6 to 16years.
 Trained over 500 students 5 of them got International rating and One of them is
National B Player.
 Conducted Inter school and corporate tournament regularlry since 3 years.
