This document provides the text of a color identification activity for young children. It includes pictures of various objects like bananas, roses, a handbag, duck, dress, bird, lime, watch, cup, chair, pen, bell peppers, shoes, shape, sweater, car and umbrella. For each picture it asks the child to identify what is shown and its color. It then instructs children to go around their home with a parent or guardian and identify 3 yellow items, have the parent write them down along with the child's name and date, and take a photo to upload.

6. Ping Lee is a flower girl in her auntie’s wedding. She is

8. Oh look , there is some fresh, sweet lime on the table in the
kitchen. Someone has just picked them from the tree in the

10. We have taken a picture of Ms. Grace’s favorite cup. What
colour is it?

11. Please sit on this chair our lesson is about to begin. What

21. Now, I want you to do some work for me. I need
your Mummy or your Daddy or your Uncle or your
Auntie to get a piece of paper and walk around
your house or your compound with you so that you
can show them any 3 yellow things in your home or
compound.

22. To our Dear Parent or Guardian: Please take your child through this
authentic task and ensure that you write down the 3 yellow things that
your child identifies. Ensure that you put your child’s name and today’s
date on the top right hand side of the paper. Take a picture of it and
upload it on the Learning Management System.
Furthermore, take a picture of your child showing you any one of the
yellow things and upload it on the Learning Management System and
also post a picture on our class wall.
Remember that you can go through this activity as many times as your
child needs so that it helps him or her in the revision of this concept.
