AyurData is celebrating its first anniversary and providing an overview of its activities in the past year. It is a group of consultants specialized in clinical trial design and analysis for Ayurvedic research. In the past year, AyurData has released basic and advanced manuals on medical statistics, provided statistical support and training to researchers, and is now tied with a US herbal firm to conduct Ayurvedic clinical trials. It is also part of an international Ayurveda research network and conducted a survey on obesity prevalence.

- 8. © 2019 AyurData /CONFIDENTIAL 8 The basic manual covered the syllabus specified for M.D. students on Medical Statistics, by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. BASIC MANUAL – RELEASED IN MARCH 2020

The mode of presentation is that the concept is introduced first, followed by illustration and the use in a real context. Some mathematics is involved but well explained in the text. - 10. © 2019 AyurData /CONFIDENTIAL 10 ACTIVITIES REVIEW FOR THE LAST YEAR • Conducted a session on application of statistics in Ayurveda domain at the VPSV college, Kottakal. • Conducted Classes for 1st year PG students of the VPSV college on Medical Statistics. • Statistical support to 7 dissertation works of doctoral students. • Design and analytical support provided to more than 30 researchers. • Training workshop held on “Advanced Statistical Applications in Ayurveda Research during the month of August 2020. • We are privileged to be a part of the internal scientific committee of VPSV, Kottakal. • We are now tied up with Santhigram Herbals, a US based firm for conducting clinical trials in Ayurveda.
