This letter is to thank you for for your courage concerning the Immigration vote and to
direct your attention to the interlocking issues that continue to plague we the citizens of
the US. Leaving an open border is allowing open warfare on the citizens you are
supposedly to protect. Either terrorism is a political farce or it is not. Early in march I
wrote you about Ayman Sulmane Kamal being interdicted crossing the Southern border
with Mexico.
I appreciated the reply received 29 March 2007 by( EM ). This individual, and the
inability to find out what has happened, outlines the issue between our government and
ourselves. Totally disconnected. Either there is war on terror or there is not. The border
situation is a mess, people all over the country are having to deal with drugs, vicious
gangs, illegal documents as in our own state, and all for a head of lettuce. More people
have died at the hands of illegals than in the Iraq war. The evidently craven grasp for
political power, over any and all common morality, by the leftists has become obvious.
People all over the country want reform, simply true reform, not ( wolf in sheep's
clothing ) reform.
Now: Specifically: ( and again ) what has happened to this man? Please look into the
arrest and inform me of the current details. The (CBP) is not interested in you gaining
this information, and is obviously stonewalling you. It is my request that you gain some
allies and make another request. The only reason for the reluctance, is to continue to
pretend that we are safe. This for Nafta and SPP. This while they advise of a possible
attack this summer. What hypocrisy.
I am supporting you. This man is an excellent example for you to use in your reelection
campaign. He is a factual border crosser, and might have ties to groups intent on
harming us. This example would separate you from the left and from the right. Ignore
the lobbyist and the DHS. Civil society and your oath demand that you take the lead as
you did in evaluating the immigration bill. Even after all your work, you correctly voted
against it.
You have a grand opportunity to serve the country well, and be reelected, but only if you
move from the lie that the American Public wants the burden of the illegals. The facts do
not bear this out.
