This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. - 2. Provides students with the ability to learn history from the dawn of time all the way to present day. This app provides information, pictures, and music for every major historical event or civilization. Perfect for all high school level history classes. Parents and teachers are able to assess a students progress through the app. Best part of this app is it is safe and private for your students to use!
- 3. Back in Time induces critical thinking and is intellectually stimulating! App is very easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow. This app can help with every standard in history by accessing documents and pictures throughout history.
- 4. This app allows you to view maps of the world from the past as well as present day. It allows you to compare these maps side by side, aiding the learner by comparing how it has changed throughout history! Unfortunately this app does not let a teacher or parent assess what the child has learned. This app may not directly foster higher learning, but it assists with higher learning lessons!
- 5. This app is very easy to use and provides instructions that are easy to follow. Again, this app is private and does not even require an internet connection. World Geography was absorbed into World History, so this app would help provide the map requirements while still having a connection to history. EXAMPLE: W.25 Analyze the importance of geographic factors in military decisions and outcomes. (G)
