To get a driving license in the Czech Republic, one must complete driving school which requires being over 18 years old, passing a medical exam for fitness, and having good eyesight. The driving exam has two parts - a written test covering traffic rules, signs, first aid, and car maintenance, and a practical driving test with an instructor and evaluator. Different license groups exist for different vehicle types from motorcycles to trucks to buses. When driving, one must carry their ID, license, vehicle documents, insurance, and accident report forms.
