3. Chronobox
Three different HW boards based on:
WiFi for short karting tracks
< 1 GHz protocols for other tracks
2G/3G modems for tours
Automotive grade low-power battery operated mobile RF IoT data logger
device using GPS, IMU and sensor fusion algorithms to collect telemetry
data. Used by motorcycle, kart and car racing enthusiasts who like to run on
tracks or by amateur on road races.
Requirements features:
Motobase border router may be needed
Uses MariaDB or MySQL DB to save data
2G/3G units setup via Bluetooth

Review of the SW implementation of the ignition algorithm to solve
problems at low RPM, rewrote a very little part of the application and
helped to obtain correct data to put on the ignition control table.
Some improvements to short calculation time to compute ignition time.
Introduced a simpler and effective algorithm to compensate engine
temperature effect and to clean sparks.
Main contractor: USA Firmware LLC One engineer working by USA
Firmware office and on client lab to support field tests. She and USA
Firmware staff supported also with client face to face communications.

5. Minirain
Design of a sprinkler hose reel with simplest HMI using only 1 knob and 3
LEDs to dissimulate that is a microcontroller based electronics board.
Single board designed to be used on self-propelled hose based on water
turbine and DC generator or taking power from a diesel engine connected
to a generator or taking power from a Pb battery recharged using a little
solar panel.

6. Madmax
Design of an engine ECU used in 125 and 250cc kart and super-kart engines
able to control single and bi-cylinder gasoline engines.

Tested to work up to 16,000 RPM

Safety mode in case of severe faults
Communication interface for MAXLD display

7. Carolyn
Design of an 8 cylinder engine ECU used on some USA racing series.

None relay used
EMC filters on each input signal

No interpolation algorithm needed
Maps update also while engine runs

8. Penguin
Automotive air conditioning unit used in sport and luxury cars.

9. Rino
On truck weighing system composed by HMI unit for the driver able to
interface different type of sensors installed on truck axles or suspensions
using standard communication interfaces (CAN or RF). It is also possible to
connect GPS and 2G/3G/4G communication unit.
