• 4 tbsp orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
• For the topping
• 50g orange milk chocolate, grated
• 50g almond milk chocolate, grated
• Method
• Lightly grease and line a 20cm springform cake tin. To make the base, put the biscuits and butter in a food processor, pulse into fine crumbs, then tip into the tin. Spread evenly over the base and press down firmly with the back of a spoon. Put the tin in the freezer and leave to set

• “Crispy duck is amazing in stir-fries and works really well with this zingy Asian-style dressing”

• reshly ground black pepper
• 2 heaped teaspoons of five-spice
• 1 clementine

the Ham moist.
• INGREDIENTS
• 17-pound fully cooked bone-in ham (preferably the shank end)
• 2tablespoons fennel seeds
• 2tablespoons coriander seeds
• 1teaspoon black peppercorns
• 1cup apricot preserves
• DIRECTIONS
• Heat oven to 375° F.
• Place the ham, cut-side down, on a rack set in a roasting pan. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
• Meanwhile, using a heavy pan, crush the fennel, coriander, and peppercorns. In a small bowl, combine them with the preserves to form a glaze.

5. Black Forest Trifle
• “This trifle is a traditional favourite brought up to date with the mix of fruit and Greek yoghurt”
• As an ardent Chocolate lover there is a bias always towards chocolate, so I was thinking like should I put black forest in the list or not as I posted a chocolate containing recipe before. But finally decided to go with this black forest trifle recipe. It’s the most delicious trifle I have had to
date and definitely a must try during coming days. It’s a bit easy to execute and only a 15 mins of execution time with some pre planning. This trifle is easy to execute as well compared to other trifles going around. Happy trifling mates.
• INGREDIENTS
• 500g (1lb 2oz) chocolate brownies (shop-bought are fine)
• 2 jars black cherries in Kirsch (we used Opies, widely available), drained, reserving 5tbsp liquid, and patted dry
• 600ml (1pt) double cream
• 500g (1lb 2oz) Greek yogurt
• 2tsp vanilla bean paste
• 2tbsp icing sugar
• dark chocolate curls (see box) and edible glitter, to decorat
• PREPARATION
• Break up the brownies into large pieces, place in a large serving bowl, and pour over the reserved cherry liquid and top with half the cherries.
• Whip the cream to soft peaks then fold into the yogurt with the vanilla and icing sugar. Place a quarter of this on the cherries, then add the other half of the cherries and finally the rest of the cream. Pile with chocolate curls, dust with edible glitter and serve. This will keep in the
fridge overnight. The cherries will seep slightly into the cream, losing the dramatic tiering effect, although it will still taste delicious!
• For the chocolate curls Melt 200g (7oz) dark chocolate and smooth on to a chopping board. Chill until set, then drag a cheese slicer in long strips along the surface to form curls. If the chocolate cracks, it's too cold; if it curls too thickly, it's too warm. Store on a parchment-lined plate
in the freezer and handle very carefully.
4. Eggnog Ice Cream
• Here I bring you a super delicious Xmas desert at number 4. You can have normal ice cream on any day of the year. But this is a seasonal special ice cream. Licking ma fingers for this ice-cream all ready. This eggnog ice
cream is easy to prepare but will need some time for yield and the setting which will come toad total time around 10 hours. Finally Make sure guys that this desert will be on your table after a heavy meal.
• Ingredients
• 4 egg yolks
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1 pint whole milk
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
• 3 ounces bourbon
• Directions
• Watch how to make this recipe.
• In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the egg yolks and sugar until the yolks lighten in color and the sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside.
• In a medium saucepan, over high heat, combine the milk, heavy cream and nutmeg and bring just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and gradually temper the hot mixture into the egg and sugar
mixture. Then return everything to the pot and cook until the mixture reaches 160 degrees F. Remove from the heat, stir in the bourbon, pour into a medium mixing bowl, and set in the refrigerator. Chill the mixture in
the refrigerator until it reaches a temperature of 40 degrees F, approximately 4 to 6 hours.
• Once chilled, process in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. Serve as is for soft-serve, or place in an airtight container and put in the freezer for 2 to 4 hours for traditional ice cream.

  • 13. 5. Black Forest Trifle • “This trifle is a traditional favourite brought up to date with the mix of fruit and Greek yoghurt” • As an ardent Chocolate lover there is a bias always towards chocolate, so I was thinking like should I put black forest in the list or not as I posted a chocolate containing recipe before. But finally decided to go with this black forest trifle recipe. It’s the most delicious trifle I have had to date and definitely a must try during coming days. It’s a bit easy to execute and only a 15 mins of execution time with some pre planning. This trifle is easy to execute as well compared to other trifles going around. Happy trifling mates. • INGREDIENTS • 500g (1lb 2oz) chocolate brownies (shop-bought are fine) • 2 jars black cherries in Kirsch (we used Opies, widely available), drained, reserving 5tbsp liquid, and patted dry • 600ml (1pt) double cream • 500g (1lb 2oz) Greek yogurt • 2tsp vanilla bean paste • 2tbsp icing sugar • dark chocolate curls (see box) and edible glitter, to decorat • PREPARATION • Break up the brownies into large pieces, place in a large serving bowl, and pour over the reserved cherry liquid and top with half the cherries. • Whip the cream to soft peaks then fold into the yogurt with the vanilla and icing sugar. Place a quarter of this on the cherries, then add the other half of the cherries and finally the rest of the cream. Pile with chocolate curls, dust with edible glitter and serve. This will keep in the fridge overnight. Store on a parchment-lined plate in the freezer and handle very carefully.
