Lakes Entrance is a town in Australia located on a lake system connected to the sea. The lakes stretch over 100km to the west and are fed by 5 rivers, separated from the sea by sand dunes. The town has the largest fishing fleet in Australia and sometimes floods occur when rains cause the lake to overflow into the town. 3. Where I live Looking East Looking West Lakes Entrance is located on a lake system that connects to the sea through a man made channel. There are islands in the lakes. The lakes stretch over 100km to our west and are fed by 5 main rivers. They are separated from the sea by a narrow strip of sand dunes. The ocean beach is 90 miles long.
