Kristy Bucy earned a BA in Psychology in 2010 from Argosy University. Her goal is to become a counselor helping teen parents through difficult times and giving them opportunities. She wants to open a home for young mothers without support. Her own experience as a teen mother inspired this career path. She has extensive education in psychology, counseling, and social services.

4. resume cont. Experience: My experience in this area is a personal experiences; I had my first child when I was 15 years old and was lucky enough to have a supportive family. Many that I know were not so lucky. They were forced to give up their babies to strangers or have an abortion. I want to be there for these teens that have no support or options. Their wishes are just not a concern to anyone. I want to show these teens that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that with some help they too can live their dreams.

7. reflection Argosy has provided me with the opportunity to achieve my goal to finish my BS in psychology. I have worked long and hard to obtain my degree in Psychology and had to jump many hurdles along the way. The road has been long and tough and many of time I wondered if was going to make it to the end but the road has not ended only opened up more opportunities. I am glad to have this opportunity to complete my degree, and to have Argosy at my side while I did it.

9. My future in learning Through Argosy I have learned to become a life long learner. I plan on continuing me education to gain my Doctorate in Psychology or Forensics. When I have completed that I plan on continue to learn all that I can about the field that end up in. I have made it this far and have survived and gained a lot of knowledge along the way there is no way I could stop gaining knowledge. I will start with getting into the career that I have worked so hard to get to.
