My master degree research was on the Toxicity of some Sudanese
herbs ,namely Cympobogon proximus on Nubian goats and Newzealand
rabbits, Solenstemma argel on Nubian gaots and Acacia nilotica on
Nubian goats.
 Ph.D. (2003), Department of Medicine Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of
Veterinary Science, University of Khartoum, Sudan:

My Ph.D. Degree was on the Toxicity of Chemicals Used for the Treatment of
Drinking Water for Human and Animal Consumption Purposes, namely
PolyDADMAC and Alum to Nubian Goats as an example of a ruminant and
Newzealand Rabbits as a monogastric laboratory animal.
IV.PUBLICATIONS
(a) Theme of Research
In the field of human and animal health, safety and toxicology of drinking
water, a lot of research work was conducted on the purification and safety, namely
the use of chemical treatment for that purpose with special emphasis on Sudan
experience on the use of polymers polyDADMAC, Aluminium Chloride, Chloride
and poly Aluminium Chloride. Data that arrive at the therapeutic index of these
chemicals used domestically in relation to Nile water was the very answer sought
after. Our domestic potable water is rather different from other international types
of water for which the available lists of chemicals risks are made.
