Winston Morton, Vice President of Technology at LinkBermuda, discusses how the company implemented Zuora to enable usage-based metering and billing for its cloud services. LinkBermuda provides infrastructure as a service (IaaS), backup as a service (BaaS), and communication as a service (CaaS) from its data centers in Bermuda. Previously, LinkBermuda billed customers manually each month, but turned to Zuora for its rating and billing engine to more efficiently handle recurring billing as the company grows its suite of metered cloud offerings. Zuora also integrated with LinkBermuda's Salesforce CRM system and provided reporting metrics needed to manage the subscription business model.
