From the apparel companies’ viewpoint, it is of critical
significance that fashion goods be safe in
manufacturing and follow sustainably the sustainability
guideline such as ISO 14000, as the process is
especially environmentally conscious in terms of
heavy use of toxic products and vast volumes of water
and pesticides. In this article, we intend to incorporate
the operative framework of the sustainable fashion
supply chain and to teach ZARA to learn from
sustainable practices. As the world renowned brand,
ZARA is representative enough to investigate the
supply chain for sustainable apparel. Our aims in this
paper are to define the framework of the sustainable
fashion supply chain and to analyze the sustainable
activities of the business in order to address the
lessons from the nation viewpoint from ZARA's
sustainable fashion supply chain. The associated
literature of the supply chain for sustainable apparel
has been reviewed.

Literature Review
Sustainability is described as "development which
meets the needs of the present without sacrificing the
potential for future generations to meet their needs,"
according to the World Commission for Environment
and Development. The mode supply chain is work-
intensive and environmentally conscious. Fashion
businesses need to create a viable supply chain
addressing all facets of Triple Bottom Line. Fashion
supply chain in this way, sustainability is a way for
businesses to promote their social and environmental
commitments so that they can achieve a comparative
edge in the market. Furthermore, it is the material of
sustainable feed and can also be reused and recycled
such as old garments, industrial scraps and bottles.
Concern regarding the environmental effect of clothing
manufacturing is significant as the Planet cannot sustain
the current production and disposal amount of clothing
because of degradation of natural resources and the
rapid filling of deposits. symbolic enough of the case
study to illustrate how a retail business adopts
environmental practices in a supply chain. For future
studies, term focus should be paid to the issue of a
sustainable apparel supply chain.
Results and Findings
3.1 Eco-Material Preparation
To A quarter of all pesticides used are, say, in
U.S.A., the biggest cotton exporter in the world.
Henrik Lampa, socially responsible for the raw
materials of ZARA, has been in a position to use
organic cotton for several years and spent a lot of
money in sustainable cotton manufacturing in an
interview with himself. ZARA has been deeply
mindful of the environmental sustainability. The
Hollywood range of glamor, made of organic cotton
and recycled polyester, will be launched in the
Spring of 2014 by ZARA. ZARA is accredited by
independent third party certifications for each
category to guarantee a quality in sustainable
products.
3.2 Sustainable Manufacturing
Bangladesh is the largest production country for
ZARA, according to data collection in the ZARA list
of suppliers (there are 163 suppliers in Bangladesh
working for ZARA, as shown in Table 1). ZARA
takes various steps with Bangladeshi suppliers to
minimize negative impacts on production, including
tracking enforcement in factories and the
distribution of training to suppliers and their
employees. With 262 suppliers and 194 suppliers,
China and Turkey are the major development
countries, in accordance with the plan for local
sourcing in Asia and Europe.
3.3 Green Distribution
The issue, however, is how a more efficient
transport infrastructure can be built and carbon
emissions in distribution minimized. The annual
sustainability reports of ZARA reported that the
transport from factories to stores is responsible for
more than half of the carbon emissions of ZARA. At
the moment shipment by sea or by rail from retailer
to distribution centers is the principal mode of
ZARA transport.
Discussion
4.1 Lessons of Supplier Selection
We analyze the relationship with the corresponding
sustainable society index, by comparative method,
between the number of suppliers in a particular ZARA
country. Table 2 (All the ZARA data can be seen on the
ZARA Website and SSI Website in May 2015. The findings
are shown. We find that the ranking of the citizens of health
in comparison to ZARA suppliers in a given country is
positively statistical. Which means that in countries with
higher expectations of human welfare ZARA are less
prepared to choose suppliers.
4.2 Lessons of Sales per Store
On Table 3, ZARA's 2013 annual report reveals that in
2013 (SEK 26206 million) ZARA sold the best in Germany
led by the United States (SEK 1,3675 million) and France
(SEK 10636 million). Net trading, where Germany (418) is
the biggest, led by the United States (305) and the UK, has
a comparable performance (245). The health of human
beings in Germany, France and the UK is very high.
Following the linear regression model, we note that there
is no statistically significant association between SSI and
the financial results of direct store ownership in 2013
(including revenue, amount of store and sales in each
country), except for human welfare sales per store.
Table3:
4.3 . Lessons of Launching Online Stores
ZARA has opened online shops in ten countries based on the
data obtained by the ZARA website (i.e., Austria, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the
USA, and the UK). As seen in Table 4, these 10 countries are all
relatively high for human and economic well-being and relatively
moderate for the climate. This assertion means that, as the
online delivery channel is launched (e.g., the creation of the
online and offline channel together), the CEO should consider,
primarily, the levels of human well-being and economic well-
being rather than the environment.
Conclusion
We first studied the structure of a sustainable fashion supply
chain and revealed how ZARA works in the corresponding
stage of the sustainable fashion supply chain. Although
literature review and case studies allow industry to establish
a sustainable supply chain, a number of limitations are
present in this article. More specifics should be discussed for
future studies in a competitive supply chain. Second, ZARA
is long-
