Asthma triggers and preventions are discussed. Common asthma triggers include allergens, dust mites, tobacco smoke, air pollution, changes in weather, exercise and emotions. During an asthma attack, the airways become narrow making it difficult to breathe. Symptoms include wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath. Asthma can be serious and even cause death.
