This document examines lung cancer mortality rates for black and white males in Kentucky counties. It finds that Gallatin and Knox counties have mortality rates of 150 or more for both black and white males. Almost every Kentucky county has a mortality rate of over 150. Overall, black males appear to have higher lung cancer mortality rates across Kentucky counties than white males.
