Scenario
You have recently begun a new job as a technical advisor for an
environmental agency. Your first role is to prepare a report on the properties
of various organic compounds, their uses and any environmental
consequences of using them in society.
Tasks
P5 Investigate the use of 3 main types of organic compounds used in
society. Use the information you gain to produce a presentation which
describes the use of these organic compounds.
M5 Using your presentation, work in a team with two other technical
advisors to produce and present a poster that explains the benefits and
disadvantages surrounding the use of fossil fuels, plastics and organic
chlorides in society.
D5 Still working with a team of two other technical advisors, use the poster
you have produced as the basis for a report evaluating the importance
