The song I have chosen is Policticians in my eyes by The Band Death. I have chosen this song as a my choice of The American story due to the style of music. The song written and record in Detroit during the height of Mo-Town death is considered to be one of the first "punk" bands in America. Originally a funk band before changing to a protopunk sound, The heavy guitars taking rifts from the upcoming british rock scene inwoven with the detroit mo-town/funk bass lines and traditional drums, I believe this sound to be american in nature due to it's melting pot style of various musical influences.

The reason why the United States develop a style of music that was different from Europe is due to the Romantic period. A period that lasted around 1780 to 1910 that inspired a sense of nationalism and their own uniqueness based on the types of elements that is incorporated within a music. For instance, in Russia at the time, the harmony element was an element to tackle as Russian creativity was emphasized on the inertia and self-enclosed tableaux in order to create a uniqueness. Compared to western harmony which worked against the idea in order to propel the music onward and shape it (Brown, Final, 422, 432–34).
In terms of what musical elements that create what might be called the “American” sound, it think it's the emphasis on the harmony element taking the lead that makes American sound more distinct when compared to other western counterparts such as Great Britain. While at the same time, not being over constantly over the top and keeping a low but free flow in a sense. For instance, the United State National anthem starts low with the harmony varying a little from time to time until the climax. While not a song from the time period, another song I think fits the bill is a song called "Take Me Home, Country Roads" by John Denver which also seem to displays similarily.

Introduction
In this assignment, I was able to get a real chance to be in the actual field making first hand observations. It was such an interesting activity to move around and watch natural behaviour in the field. During this time, my main objectives involved making observations of random people in their natural environment and how they behaved, how frequent they were into social media. Their frequency to social media usage was judged by how they were using their gadgets such as tablets and cell phones. Another objective involved getting close enough to hear their conversations and capture their attitude on some aspects. All this was done without their knowledge so as to ensure they had their natural behaviour free from influence.
Another phase of my activity involved asking some questions about their opinions on some issues such as social media usage. These questions were designed in such a way that a response/behaviour would follow soon enough. The reason for these mechanism was to compare their attitudes towards something and how they actually behaved in relation to their attitudes. Most of my questions were social media related so as to ensure I remained relevant to my research and social psychology.
The activity involved observation of ten random subjects and how they interacted with one another, how they behaved as a result of their peer surrounding since the experiment was conducted in a public setting. The observation occurred on two phases. Each phase taking approximately 20-30mins such that I had approximately two minutes for each person. The second phase was the most interesting since this is where I was asking the questions and observing whether the persons would behave in accord to their opinions and attitude. It should be noticed that, at times I would make the observation then pose the question about what I had observed just to see if their actions would match their opinions.
Their entire time in the field was really interesting and mind opening.

Every research will always have some challenges associated with it. The challenges are even more when the subjects under study are humans. This is because we humans have rights and freedoms which ought to be respected and upheld.
My study had several challenges. However, such challenges were tackled professionally such that my results were not biased and no violations of whatsoever kind were made. In America, I think it is a mix on climate change being an issue but becoming increasingly popular among all Americans. Americans believe that it is an issue that needs to change in the future.
Politicians in America are divided on the climate change issue. The Democratic party agrees that climate change is an issue, but they are not sure what to do to fight climate change. The Democratic presidential candidates all agree that we must do something to fight climate change, but they do not agree on what to do. The issue for Democrats appears to be what to do to battle climate change.
The Republicans, for the most part, do not believe that climate change is an issue. The president thinks that it is a hoax and does not pay it much attention. Some Republicans believe it is increasingly doubtful while other Republicans now are beginning to realize that it is an issue that does need some attention. They believe they could lose some voters if they do not support the issue.
The media plays both sides of the issue depending on what audience they are trying to capture.
I do believe that the American people’s responses to the climate change issue, whether agreeing or disagreeing, it is an issue will influence the direction of research. If the American people believe climate change is not an issue and nothing needs to be done, and the politicians agree t.

and what was normal for a family last year is not the same today by any means. After reading the
study you realize that the author is testing about how certain stressors in a person’s life can affect
them in different ways depending on what sex they are. The author states that men and woman
deal with things on a different level and each process things in a different manor. Whereas,
something that may affect a man, will not have as much bearing on a woman and vies versa.
Woman tested were more prone to psychological problems like depression and anxiety. Men
tested were more likely to demonstrate other symptoms of distress such as alcohol or drug use.

In the present study of 451 married couples living in the rural midwest, gender differences were
examined in reports of exposure and vulnerability to specific types of undesirable life events.
Consistent with expectations derived from either a social structural or identity perspective, the
results demonstrated that men are more likely than women to report exposure to and to be
distressed by work and financial events. Women, on the other hand, are more strongly influenced
by exposure to negative events within the family but not within their network of friends.
Outcomes vary according to the type of emotional distress. Financial stress, for example,
increases hostility among men more than among women, but wives are more likely than
husbands to report somatic complaints in response to the same stressor. The findings demonstrate
the need for future research that more directly investigates the intraindividual and social
mechanisms which account for gender differences in a broad range of emotional and behavioral
responses to varying types of significant life changes.

Introduction
In this assignment, I was able to get a real chance to be in the actual field making first hand observations. It was such an interesting activity to move around and watch natural behaviour in the field. During this time, my main objectives involved making observations of random people in their natural environment and how they behaved, how frequent they were into social media. Their frequency to social media usage was judged by how they were using their gadgets such as tablets and cell phones. Another objective involved getting close enough to hear their conversations and capture their attitude on some aspects. All this was done without their knowledge so as to ensure they had their natural behaviour free from influence.
Another phase of my activity involved asking some questions about their opinions on some issues such as social media usage. These questions were designed in such a way that a response/behaviour would follow soon enough. The reason for these mechanism was to compare their attitudes towards something and how they actually behaved in relation to their attitudes. Most of my questions were social media related so as to ensure I remained relevant to my research and social psychology.
The activity involved observation of ten random subjects and how they interacted with one another, how they behaved as a result of their peer surrounding since the experiment was conducted in a public setting. The observation occurred on two phases. Each phase taking approximately 20-30mins such that I had approximately two minutes for each person. The second phase was the most interesting since this is where I was asking the questions and observing whether the persons would behave in accord to their opinions and attitude. It should be noticed that, at times I would make the observation then pose the question about what I had observed just to see if their actions would match their opinions.
Their entire time in the field was really interesting and mind opening.
Ethical obligations and challenges
Every research will always have some challenges associated with it. The challenges are even more when the subjects under study are humans. This is because we humans have rights and freedoms which ought to be respected and upheld.

Politicians in America are divided on the climate change issue. The Democratic party agrees that climate change is an issue, but they are not sure what to do to fight climate change. The Democratic presidential candidates all agree that we must do something to fight climate change, but they do not agree on what to do. The issue for Democrats appears to be what to do to battle climate change.
The Republicans, for the most part, do not believe that climate change is an issue. The president thinks that it is a hoax and does not pay it much attention. Some Republicans believe it is increasingly doubtful while other Republicans now are beginning to realize that it is an issue that does need some attention. They believe they could lose some voters if they do not support the issue.
The media plays both sides of the issue depending on what audience they are trying to capture.

study you realize that the author is testing about how certain stressors in a person’s life can affect

by exposure to negative events within the family but not within their network of friends.

increases hostility among men more than among women, but wives are more likely than
husbands to report somatic complaints in response to the same stressor. The findings demonstrate
the need for future research that more directly investigates the intraindividual and social
mechanisms which account for gender differences in a broad range of emotional and behavioral
responses to varying types of significant life changes.

This document summarizes a research paper that examines fresh water scarcity from the perspectives of Human Development and Family Studies and Organizational Leadership. Research can be done to support the idea that a person’s likes and dislikes can be impacted by what is currently considered trendy in society. For example a poll could be conducted where participants would be given a list of clothing items. Some items would be out of date (trends from years ago) and some items would reflect current trends. Participants would state whether or not they liked the item. The results could support the idea that current styles are more often to be liked by participants while out of date styles are more likely to be disliked. The same poll could be conducted using other trends such as music where the list could include songs that are currently played frequently on the radio versus songs not frequently played. 2. Does climate affect anxiety? Research could be conducted using participants living in different parts of the world, with differing climates. Participants could then be evaluated on their daily stress levels and on how many suffer from anxiety related disorders. Participant evaluations could be compared to the climate in which the participants live. This could support the idea that climate affects anxiety levels. For example if participants who live in a climate that is mostly warm suffer from fewer anxiety related disorders than participants who live in colder climates. 3. Is attractiveness based on similarities or differences?
