 Title: ClassifiedFlock
 Purpose of site: to connect buyers and sellers of
  items & services.
 Client: LiveFlock Corporation
PROJECT DETAILS (CONTINUED)
   Users:
     Mainly students
     Sellers or buyers
          Textbooks, clothes, electronics
          Sellers want ability to post items quickly and efficiently

          Buyers want to be able to search for and find items easily

          No Spam


   This is a new website (not a redesign)
PART #2
PROJECT INFORMATION
   We can’t do a usability study
       The site does not exist yet
           We will be making the first version of it.
   The users are college students
       They want to buy/sell items.
           Student marketplace
PROJECT INTERVIEWS
   We will gather information in several ways
        Focus groups
           Call in students and ask a set of questions

        Mailed surveys

           Send a list of questions out to several people

           Cheap and easy to distribute
PROJECT INFORMATION
 We have the time to visit and talk with the users.
 We do not need permission to talk with users
       They are ready to meet with us.
   The interviews will take place within a week.
PROJECT PLAN
   Week 1 – Interviewing
       We will talk with the users.
           Try to get an understanding of what they want.
   Week 2 – Mock up/design
       We will make paper prototypes and computer prototypes
           We will come up with a good plan
   Week 3 and On – execution and implementation
       We will make the website
PROGRESS
   Everything is going well so far
       We have most questions answered and are ready to go.
   We will talk with LiveFlock if any questions arise in
    this process.
       They have a good understanding of what they want.
