Advantages of CMC The increment of internet had yielded many opportunities for people to communicate to each other. This means that people belong to different nations they don’t have to fly from country to country in order to meet people and talk with them about political or general issues.
Advantages of CMC Also, people have the freedom to express their opinion and they don’t have to pay attention of what do they say since everybody that communicates with people through internet is , in a way, an unknown user. Even Governments around the world are using Internet and some information systems for specific purposes.

The increment of internet also helped the development of E-Government that is an “internet tool” really useful for governments because it supports their operations and provides some services related to governments.

Conclusion Online communication, according to specific researches, can help for the political participatory democracy, awareness and a more open and peaceful dialogue between people. People are now freer to communicate and say their own opinion, something that has been barely happened in the past.
Conclusion Unfortunately, this scenario does not includes some groups of people, that according to computer mediated communication, “they are disempowered people in disempowered places like poor often think their voices are not adequately heard, whether through traditional or computer-mediated means.”.
Conclusion Although there are many websites promoting e-democracy, much more should be implemented in order to create cyber spaces for margined people to have the opportunity of the freedom of speech.
