6. What is a UPS Comprehensive Maintenance ?….
 It is customized full service maintenance wherein all defective
spare parts, labor cost, and batteries of the UPS be covered and
maintained to avoid budgetary shock. This also consists of the
following:
 Preventive Maintenance– means inspecting, cleaning, adjusting
and testing of the Equipment. It is a procedure to detect early
problem and to prevent the equipment from data loss and
escalating to unexpected downtime and costly repair.
 Remedial Maintenance – means the adjustment or replacement
of any faulty part in the equipment (provided that the need for
the same arises from the normal and proper use of the
Equipment) and there after the testing of the Equipment to
determine that it is in good working order.

7. Terms and Conditions for Comprehensive
Maintenance ….
 Prior to the enrollment to Comprehensive Maintenance there will be a
physical and technical inventory of the equipment that will be conducted
by ASPEX with the assistance of clients authorized representative to
determine the capacity, brand, model, serial number, and actual condition
of the units. All UPS to be covered by UPS Service Plan (Comprehensive
Maintenance) must be in satisfactory working condition.
 For units found to be defective upon inventory, ASPEX will repair it only
upon Customer’s advise. ASPEX will isolate the problem and submit
quotation for batteries and/ or parts replacement prior to actual repair.
This is billable to client.
 In case the unit was declared irreparable or parts were out of the market
there will be an option for replacement of brand new ACCUPOWER UPS
with the same capacity.

8. Features of a UPS Comprehensive Maintenance….
 Frequency of Preventive Maintenance
 Annual, Semi-annual, Quarterly
 Service Availability
 Twelve (12) hours a day, Seven (7) days a week including holidays.
 Response Time
 For Metro Manila – within two (2) hours from the time the call is
logged at ASPEX Head Office (Helpdesk).
 For outside Metro Manila (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao area) –
within two (2) hours from the time the call is logged plus actual
travel time from the nearest ASPEX Field Operating Center.
 Resolution Time
 For Metro Manila - within 24 hours
 For outside Metro Manila (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao area) –
within 48 hours plus travel time from the nearest ASPEX Field
Operating Center.
 For Inter-island and remote areas – within 72 hours plus travel time
from the nearest ASPEX Field Operating Center.

 Provision of service unit UPS if your UPS cannot be repaired
immediately
 Fast nationwide response with the aid of our 16 Field
Operating Centers (FOC) Nationwide
 Stocking of service units and batteries at our FOC’s for readily
use and delivery.
