Explain the fundamental structure of bisensors
Solution
A biosensor is a analytical device used for detection of various types of analytes (samples) like protein, DNA, etc
The main components of a biosensor are;
i) Bioreceptors : It is the biological component onto which the antibodies are immobilised. It is with this part of the biosensor that the sample comes in contact. The sample interacts with the antibodies to give out certain signals, which are further analysed by the other parts of the biosensor.
ii) Transducer : It is the physicochemical detector which is attacted with the bioreceptor, and it detects the signals produced due to interaction in between the sample and the antibodies.Depending on the type ofsignal produced different types of transducers are used for example optical, electronic, piezoelectric, etc.
iii) Amplifier : It amplifies the detected signal so that their analysis becomes easier.
iv) Microelectronics : This part is responsible for data processing or data analysis that gives us the actual information we want to obtain using the biosensor like concentartion of a certain analyte in a certain sample.

to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
