This study used a hierarchical linear growth model to assess mental health recovery over time for individuals receiving treatment at a residential facility using a recovery-centered approach. Key findings:
1) Mental health recovery scores significantly improved over the 12-month period, supporting the effectiveness of the recovery-centered treatment approach.
2) Baseline recovery scores were significantly lower for those with a primary diagnosis of depression or personality disorder compared to other diagnoses.
3) There were no significant differences in recovery trajectories based on gender or age. However, personal characteristics only explained a small portion of variance in recovery outcomes.
